Corrosion Resistant Equipment
Thermoplastic and Thermosetting Plastics products first became an alternative solution for corrosion resistance to steel, stainless steel, and exotic materials in 1950. Fiberglass static equipment and piping were first used in the crude oil production industry as a solution to corrosion problems. Today, there are several recognized international design standards and specifications for FRP/GRP/GRE static equipment and piping.
The outstanding mechanical properties and corrosion resistance characteristics of these materials make them ideal for corrosion-free equipment and piping, while maintaining design strength compliance to high technical requirements.
We provide corrosion-resistant equipment, such as thermoplastics and Reinforced Thermosetting Plastic, as solutions for corrosive chemical storage and pressurized process operations in highly corrosive environments, such as high sour and seawater. The range of products includes FRP/GRP/uPVC/CPVC/HDPE/PP/PTFE/PVDF materials for both aboveground and buried storage tanks, pressure vessels, pressure pipes and fittings, chimneys, exhaust fans, scrubbers, and structural beams.
Our engineered static equipment and piping in thermosetting comply with a wide range of international design standards, such as BS EN13121, ASME RTP-1, ISO14692, API 12P, etc.
