Non-Destructive Testing & Inspections

Overview

As part of the active frontliner team in Asset Integrity Management & Risk-Based Inspection, we provide NDT inspection testing and services to a wide range of industry sectors, ensuring plant assets are fit for service. Our NDT services support quality control programs to evaluate the condition and integrity of assets.

Our conventional NDT inspection services include:

  • Ultrasonic Testing (UTTM & UTFD)
  • Hardness Testing (HT)
  • Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT)
  • Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI)
  • Eddy Current Testing (ECT)
  • Radiographic Testing (RT)

Other advanced NDT services include:

  • Positive Material Identification (PMI)
  • Phase Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT)

Advanced UT Sensor

Advanced UT Sensor

Reduce Inspection Campaigns

Use skeleton crew to collect data manually or log data remotely with the RDC.

Reduce Accessibility Costs

Reducing need for rope access or scaffolding with the ECHO, Reach or RDC.

Reduce Unplanned Shutdowns

Accurate data allows operators to calculate corrosion rates and make informed maintenance decisions.

Eliminate Insulation Removal

Collect data through coatings, insulation, wrap, cladding - eliminating the cost of removal.

The WAND sensors are completely passive and generate repeatable wall thickness data free from human error. The system has several advantages over alternative thickness monitoring methods, allowing our customers to realize significant cost savings by replacing existing methods and adopting the WAND technology at scale.

Features & Benefits:

  • Battery-free
  • Thin & embeddable
  • RFID tagged
  • 65mm footprint
  • Operates from -40°C up to 180°C
  • 10-year lifetime minimum*
  • ATEX/IECEx approved (Zone 0)

Magnetic Gradient Tomography Method

A non-destructive testing (NDT) solution for anomaly detection, technical examination, and evaluation of pipeline integrity. MTM-G can be used to inspect above ground, underground, and offshore pipelines of all types and sizes. MTM-G is based on the Villari effect, which is the change in magnetization of a ferromagnetic metal when it is subjected to mechanical deformation or stress. MTM-G uses a portable magnetometer to scan the pipeline and measure the magnetic field. The changes in the magnetic field are then used to identify anomalies and stress concentrations in the pipe.
